1. Who is eligible to enter Mrs Universe South Africa?Married, divorced and widowed women are eligible to enter the Mrs Universe South Africa pageant. We believe in an inclusive pageant for women carrying the Mrs title. Applicants must be South African citizens and be between the ages of 22- 55 years. The competition is open to women with or without children.
2. Will I take part in an international pageant should I win?Yes, the winner of the Mrs Universe South Africa 2024/25 pageant will be taking part in the official Mrs Universe 2025 pageant. More than 100 delegates compete in the pageant every year- which makes it the largest and most prestigious pageant for married, divorced and widowed women in the world.. and the most coveted title!
3. What is the platform for the Mrs Universe South Africa Pageant?The platform is Domestic Violence and Abuse. Contestants get involved with charitable organizations who support and assist victims of domestic abuse. When you become a contestant you will identify the NPO where you would like to make a difference. You will decide if you want to collect items and/or raise funds for your chosen NPO during the competition.
4. What will the winner win?Our newly crowned Mrs Universe South Africa will get the opportunity to represent South Africa at Mrs Universe. Her traveling costs, accommodation, all meals and inland transportation will be paid for by the pageant to take part in the Mrs Universe pageant. She will be winning a cash prize of R 60 000 and sponsored prizes. All prizes are subject to sponsors.

5. What will be expected of me as a Semi-Finalist?
As a Semi-Finalist the following will be expected of you:
1. Secure a Ruby Sponsorship- R 20 000 over a 5 month period during your Semi-Finalist journey. Sponsorship funds cover the costs of your semi-finalist journey. You will receive a sponsorship proposal to use in your quest for sponsors. All contestants to raise the exact amount in order to proceed to the next round.
2. Selling a minimum of 7 tickets to the annual Mrs Universe South Africa High Tea event.
3. Selling a minimum of 7 tickets to the Finalist Sashing Gala Evening.
3. Be available for the Semi-Finalist workshop. (Accommodation for your own account).
4. Promote the Mrs Universe South Africa's sponsors.
5. Be available for the Semi-Final judging.

1. Secure a Sapphire Sponsorship- R 16 000 during your Finalist journey. Sponsorship funds cover the costs of your finalist journey. You will receive a sponsorship proposal to use in your quest for sponsors. All contestants to raise the exact amount in order to proceed to the Grand Finale.
2. Selling a minimum of 20 tickets to the Grand Finale taking place in 2025.
3. Be available for the Finalist Workshop and Training event taking place in 2024.
4. Promote the Mrs Universe South Africa's sponsors.
5. Be available for rehearsals, judging and the Grand Finale in 2025.

7. Are there any weight or height requirements?
No weight or height requirements.
8. Do I have to be a professional model to enter?
No, you do not have to be a model to enter Mrs Universe South Africa. We host workshops and training sessions to prepare you 100% for onstage!
9. How does the winner get chosen?
The Finalist with the highest overall score wins the Mrs Universe South Africa title. Judging categories are as follows:
1. Preliminary score: sponsorships, charity, ticket sales, voting.
2. Interview
3. Presentation on Domestic Violence & Abuse.
4. Onstage competition: National Costume, Swimwear and Evening Gown.

10. What happens if I win the crown?
A fabulous journey awaits! We have a dedicated International Coaching Team who will prepare you for the international pageant. We believe in team work within the Mrs Universe South Africa pageant and our coaches are of international standard!
